How to Register by Mail

You can register to vote by filling out the state or national voter registration form and mailing it in to the Inyo County Elections office. If you don’t have a printer, you can pick up a voter registration card at any post office, library, Department of Motor Vehicles or the Inyo County Elections office. If you would like a voter registration card to be mailed to you at no charge, call 760-878-0224 and one will be mailed to you. If you prefer, you can register online instead. Complete a Registration Form

You can pick up a paper voter registration card at any of the following locations:

  1. Any United States Post Office
  2. Any library in Inyo County
  3. Any Department of Motor Vehicles
  4. The Inyo County Elections office

If you woud like a voter registration card to be mailed to you at no charge, call 760-878-0224 and one will be mailed to you within 24 hours.

To Obtain a Paper Voter Registration Application

If you would like to register using a paper voter registration application, you can pick one up at your county elections office, library, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, or U.S. post office. It is important that your voter registration application be filled out completely and be postmarked or hand-delivered to your county elections office at least 15 days before the election.
